As leaders we often think we need to have all the answers. We must always be strong and never show our weaknesses. We know that the most effective leaders are authentic leaders who embrace their imperfections and their vulnerabilities but it is not something we like to talk about or want to acknowledge. As I listened to the radio and read the personal tributes that come in online – I can piece together his personal leadership legacy. This is not about what he accomplished politically, but who he was as a leader. No matter what your political beliefs, we can learn something from Jack’s personal leadership attributes.
